About me

My name is Husam Mokhtar, but many tourists just call me Sham. I was born in Cairo in 1985, where the pyramids are located. I am happy to have my origin in one of the most fascinating places of Egypt and even the world (the pyramids are the only remaining from the seven wonders of the ancient world)

I have graduated from Saint George College British high school. I am freelancer safari guide and tour operator in Egypt. I served many tourists from many countries: United States, England, Germany, Poland, Romania, Greece, Japan, Philippine, Pakistan, India, and much more.

I am the founder of Rahala Club; the first community for backpacking travelers in Egypt, since 2008 we are travelling everywhere in Egypt from East to West, from North to South. Also we are concerned with the Great civilizations & monuments found in Cairo (Pharaoh, Greek, Roman, Coptic and Islamic Monuments).
